Run 8 - hot hot hot
Okay, run 8 is in the books and here are the results. We had a pretty good turnout - about 35 runners/walkers. Good to see everyone. Much thanks to April and Jonathan for help at the finish line. Next week is the week of the Fourth of July - and we will have our scheduled run on Tuesday the 2nd, weather permitting. If you are in town come on out and bring a friend. Maybe it will be a little cooler? Hope so but not likely. See you next week - Doug

Run Seven
Check out the results of tonight's run right here. Fortunately the thunderstorms had cleared East Alabama by 6pm and we were able to enjoy a somewhat cool, somewhat muggy run. Remember, as you read this, we generally won't cancel a run unless there is a problem with lightning. And running in a summer rain is great fun, if you have not tried it before. So, next time it is threatening rain, but not lightning, be sure to show up! This was run 7 of 13, so we are over the hump and headed for home. Hope to see you next week, rain or shine! Doug
Good Chance of Rain Today
June 18 - A good chance of rain today....and the run is still on UNLESS there is lightning in the immediate area at 6pm. Maybe it will go around us. Hope to see you this evening. Doug

Run 6 In The Books
Almost halfway through the series - and we have a number of runners who have made every run so far. Check results here to see how you've been doing. Summer has definitely arrived and it's no small task to run 3.1 miles before the sun goes down. You guys are incredible! Come back next week and join the rest of the crazies as we work toward those July runs. Hope to see you next Tuesday. Doug

Awesome
You guys are awesome! It was nuttin' but hot today and we still had about 30 of you knocking out some pretty good miles this evening. And still had a good time hanging around and visiting. Can't beat that.
Much thanks to Randy Boone and his CarePoint Resources team. They taught us how to administer bystander CPR and also introduced us to the basics of using an AED. That's going to make a difference in someone's life one day. I'm convinced of it! Thank you Randy for your team's time and effort.
Here are the results of today's run. Look forward to seeing you next week! Doug
Special Event Today
On June 4th Randy Boone and the CarePoint Resources team will set up a tent and show how to perform bystander CPR and the basics of using an AED during National CPR AED Awareness week. Don’t miss it! See you this evening. Doug
